We will be playing Space 1520 with Black Flamingo on Thursday May 26th...we go on at 8pm sharp and Black Flamingo goes on at 9pm sharp...if you have not seen them now is the time! Every time I see them I have"Golden Girl" in my head on loop...badass

GET OUT OF DOLEDRUMS...
So there's been lack of updates, but what can I say we've been super busy writing new material so all my energies have been focused there. Jacquelinne has been setting up shows and I've been looking for MGMT for the band, cuz well we want to bring our brand of rocknroll to the masses..YOU. SPREAD. ENJOY. Have some fuckin' Fun.
[Random note: just got a call from my old man telling me," Don't be a dog on a leash working for some chump, make it happen."]
Anyhow we've been working on our favorite song, "RIDE THE WILD," by the first line-up of the Descendants. It came out for their first 7" in '79. I recorded a rehersal of it on my cell phone so it sounds shitty, but who gives a fuh, it's rad to me. I even sorta synched it to a silent film FAUST by F.W. Murnau.....liebe
Tonight we'll be doing a pre-recorded in-studio performance for KXLU for DJ Jen, a very nice girl that's been giving us a lot of support and love andcheck out her blog, HERE.
The show will be airing early Friday morning from 6am-10am so either stay up or make yourself get up early make some strong ass coffee, listen, go back to sleep, collect un-employment checks, or go to work/school...as Kells would say, "whatevs."
Speaking of Kells, we love him, he's the sweetheart of the band and a silly billy.

We've also got some shows coming, alot of shows, and once again..

Oh you wanna know another funny thing we've got more class than all you shit talkers [we've heard some things through the grapevine], yah we know who you are, but guess what this Train is all booked and set to go where we're meant to go, and everyone else is invited but you. In other words talk all you want because we dont give a shit. One thing we do encourage is LIEBE, "LOVE."
Cheers to acquaintances who we now consider as family for a quite a while now, they've got class, they hustle, they're rad people, and they're our smoking buddies. Check them out.

BEATCRAVE FAV FOR APRIL 6TH TWENTY 10
Los Angeles-based band Spirit Vine have wowed audiences with their three track EP, Golden, blending rock with soul, blues, and psychadelia. Tirelessly working on new material for an upcoming debut album, we’re currently limited to the aforementioned EP and live performances until more becomes available. Not that we’re complaining: Jacqueline Cingolani’s insanely sexy vocals give us chills that rival anyone else’s attempts (interpret that as you will) and the band’s overall tone seems to take a leaf from Serge Gainsbourg’s Histoire de Melody Nelson – resulting in a classic, enlivening melodical/lyrical envelopment.
Every now and then we bring to light an act that not only works their sound with inspiration, respect and ingenuity but with genuine swagger, thereby taking us by surprise. Needless to say, Spirit Vine is all of the above. Check them out in our BeatCrave Fav series below, and just try to tell us that you don’t agree.
